This is the last piece in the “Shadows Series”. It is the juxtaposition of the “White Shadows” creating a new tonal set and shadows. Where the white reflect all light, the black absorbed all light, creating a new set of shadows. To get even black in this “Black Shadows” sculpted canvas, Paul had to apply over 20 washes spanning a week.
